Mini Games
about.
Designed quick and engaging mini-games to be played alongside the main bingo game. Developed during my internship to increase user engagement during idle time.
During this job i was responsible for the full game design process, from concept to final prototype. The work included creating wireframes and grayboxes, developing distinct visual identities for each game, and producing graphic assets using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I conducted in-depth research to ensure relevance and quality, and built advanced interactive prototypes that were handed off to the development team for implementation.
The pictures below show some of my research for the "garden grow" game together with assets of flowers I created in illustrator. The second picture shows my prototyping process for the "double blitz bingo" game.
challenge.
My biggest challenge when designing Mini Games was to gamify the design in a way that felt authentic. I had to think more like a game designer when selecting colors and designing buttons to avoid a flat or uninspired look.
It required a lot of experimentation and research to strike the right balance between a playful gaming feel and a visually appealing design that truly engages users and motivates them to play.
result.
The result was three distinct mini-games: a simple coin flipper, Double Blitz Bingo, and Garden Grow. While they share a consistent UX/UI foundation, each game features its own unique branding and visual identity. Double Blitz Bingo is currently being further developed into a mobile game.
